his exceptional Black Bull 55 Year Old, holds special significance as it is a blend of single grain and single malt both produced at Lochside distillery, which stopped production in 1992.
What made Lochside unique is that it had both Pot Stills and Column Stills equipped in the distillery for use in production. They sold both Single Malt and Single Grain, and in this instance a blend of the two, which has been left to mature without interference for fifity five years in first fill sherry hogsheads.
